Las mil y una bicicletas // Thousand and one bikes

Una ciudad un tanto peculiar, donde las mil y una noches son sustituidas por mil y una bicicletas, tiene barrios de color rojo, unos escaparates un tanto extravagantes y unos bares... bueno, dejémoslo en coffee-shops. Canales donde los italianos son turistas y los holandeses residentes. Con bohemia y romanticismo capaces de ocultar a Ana Frank y de cautivar a todo aquel que pise sus calles, canales o raíces. Tres cruces negras sobre fondo rojo, símbolo de sus tres peligros; pero por qué no de sus tres cualidades: heroica, resuelta y misericordiosa. Solo puede ser Ámsterdam.

A peculiar city, where thousand and one nights are change for thousand and one bikes, it has a red district, extravagant shop windows and pubs... well, better we'll say coffe-shops. Canals where Italians are turist and Hollanders are residents. With bohemian and romanticism capable to hide Ana Frank and capable of  cautivate everybody who walks on its streets, canals or its origines. Three black crosses on a red base, emblem of their three dangers; but why not of their three qualities: heroic, solved and merciful. It only can be Amsterdam.
