Some stories are not written in ink, but in
thread, patience, and heart. In a world where trends come and go, there are
brands that are born to stay. Maison Gracen is not just a handmade fashion
label — it is a poetic universe woven with emotion, sensitivity, and artistic
expression. Behind every stitch is Marta Granados, its soul and creator, a
woman who found in crochet and art her most honest form of self-expression.
“I’m extremely sensitive, very passionate… I’m
creative, I need art. I've always been drawn to the beauty in the little
things. I love making something small and simple into something sublime.
Finding poetry in everything,” Marta shares with disarming honesty. Since
childhood, she has felt that deep need to transform simplicity into soul — and
today, that very force drives every piece she creates.

Maison Gracen was born, as enduring things
often are, quietly and slowly — almost without planning. After many years
living in Germany, Marta returned to Spain with a deep certainty: it was time
to give form to what had long been stirring inside her. “We came back in 2019…
and I just knew it was my moment. I dove in without thinking. If you think too
much, fear grows. But when something comes from the heart, it's best to let it
lead you.”

The first stitches became cozy hats. Then came
bonnets, collars, and finally Lumière: her first full collection where
sensibility took shape. Maison Gracen didn’t begin as a brand — it was born
from within. It’s built on three pillars: sustainability, art, and craftsmanship.
To these, Marta adds a fourth — the most essential: heart. “Crochet is like
handwriting. Everyone holds the needle like a pen — each with their own rhythm
and voice. I want to connect an ancestral craft like crochet to art, to
poetry.”
Marta composes her collections like someone
writing a lyrical piece. She selects high-quality materials — merino wool,
alpaca, Egyptian cotton — based on season, skin contact, or the desired shape
and flow. “In summer, the garment touches the skin. It needs to feel soft,
fresh. In winter, the volume must embrace, protect.” Nothing is accidental. Every design is born from listening — to the fabric, to
intuition, to silence.

Inspired by opera, flamenco painting,
Scandinavian aesthetics, and the depth of human emotion, Marta doesn’t follow
trends. She responds to them in her own artistic language. “I don’t ignore
trends, but I’m guided by instincts. Sometimes, I just need to see a
color — like right now, I feel this urge for green, especially for the summer.”
One of her most treasured milestones so far was
her recent debut at Fashion Week. “I’m still floating… It was incredible to
share those days with other souls who truly love fashion. It was healing. One
woman, over 80 years old, brought tears to my eyes with the things she told me.
It was pure magic.”

When Marta dreams of the future, she sees
herself behind the scenes — designing for opera or theater productions. “If I
could dress anyone, I’d start with my family. And of course, the world of art —
like the costume design in A Room with a View by James Ivory, or Madame
Butterfly by Puccini.” It’s easy to imagine — her creations carry something
lyrical, ethereal, and stage-worthy.
Maison Gracen is not just a handmade clothing
brand — it’s a declaration of intent. It doesn't aim to dictate style, but to
tell stories. It’s fashion with soul, made to move you, to stay with you. “Success
isn’t about applause for me, it’s about fulfilling dreams. Passion drives me.
Doing things with love is essential. Without love, nothing has meaning.”
Because Maison Gracen is all about stories — woven with soul, crafted with art,
and carried with intention. Stories that linger in memory and dress your skin
with quiet beauty.
